Congratulations on being selected to work at kagome!

Staffmark and Kagome have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Kagome.

It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.

Time Clock + Pay

Time Clock Procedures
Pay Rates
  • Clock in and out with last 4 of social security.
  • You may clock in up to 15 minutes prior to your shift.
  •  1 minute late is considered Tardy.
  • If you should need to leave prior to end of shift, you must notify your supervisor.
  • You must clock in and out for lunch.

Pay rate for this job varies by shift and position.

Pay Schedule

Pay days are every week on Friday.

Pay period is Monday to Sunday which will be paid the following Friday.

You have 3 ways to receive check:

  • Direct Deposit
  • Skylight Pay Card

Attendance & Shifts

The purpose of this policy is to establish standards regarding attendance for our Staffmark employee working at Kagome during their first 90 days. Attendance is vital to the success of Kagome and Staffmark. Anytime that you are away, other employees must help accomplish your workload. It is with that in mind that this policy is created.

Probation Period for Staffmark Employees:

  • All new Staffmark Employees will fall under this policy for the first 90 days, at which point they will switch and begin following Kagome attendance policies.


Attendance and Punctuality:

  • Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, on time, and prepared to start work. They should remain at work for their entire work schedule except for authorized breaks and meal periods. Late arrival, early departure, or other absences from scheduled hours should be avoided.


Accrual of Points:

  • Employees can accrue up to 3 points within their first 90 days.
  • An unexcused absence of more than three hours will result in the employee receiving a point. A tardy arrival, early departure, or shift interruption of less than three hours will be assigned a half point.
  • Arrival and departure times will be determined by each non-exempt employee’s electronic time system record of clocking in and out.
Incase you are late or absent

To call out, the following three steps must be completed:

  • Contact Staffmark via text line 870-800-3034.
  • Contact Kagome via their voicemail line 870-563-2601.
  • Contact your production supervisor.

Discipline for Attendance Issues:

  • Excessive absences, tardiness, and early departures may be cause for disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
  • During the probationary period, employee is not allowed to accrue more than 3 points.
    • Upon acquiring their 2nd point, a written notice will be provided ensuring that they are aware of their points
    • Upon receiving their 3rd point, a final warning will be provided stating that if they acquire a 4th, their assignment will be ended.
Requesting Time Off:

You will need to complete a request time off form.

If signed and approved by supervisor, then turn it into the on-site team. Request must be 48 hours in advance to plan for production.

This time is subject to approval based on production needs.

Approved Leave of Absence Exclusion:

  • Absences due to qualifying illnesses or injuries and prescheduled approved times away from work will not be counted against an employee’s attendance record.
  • A doctor’s note for extended illnesses will reduce point accrual to 1 point for that instance (i.e. flu for 3 days would be 1 point instead of 3).
  • For any questions regarding other types of approved absences or leave, please contact your Onsite Supervisor.

Lunch / Other Policies

You will receive a 30 minute lunch.

Refrigerators, microwaves, and vending machines are provided.

Dress Code

What to wear:

Our goal is to KEEP YOU SAFE, but you also want to make a good impression!

  • You must wear jeans or dockers that fully cover your shoes on the top.
  • No skinny jeans, jeans with holes or rips.
  • Slip resistant shoes.
  • T-shirts or long-sleeved shirts.
  • Smock fully snapped closed.
  • If you have long hair, it must be pulled up off your shoulders.
  • Hair net.
  • Beard net – if you have a beard.

What not to wear:

  • Tank Tops.
  • Crop/Halter tops.
  • Clothing exposing undergarments.
  • Leggings or Jogging.
  • Pants.
  • Shorts.
  • Hats.
  • Open Toed shoes or Crocs.
