Welcome to the team
Congratulations on being selected to work at Alpla!
Staffmark and Alpla have a strategic relationship that provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Alpla.
It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.
How to Check-In
Your Staffmark representative will text or email all the information you need for your first day.
Orientation Information
Your orientation will be on day 1 with Alpla to review quality andf safety procedures. It will last approximately 1 hour, then you will go to your scheduled area.

12 hour shift on 2/2/3 schedule
A/C Shift | 6:00 am to 6:30 pm
B/D Shift | 6:00 pm to 6:30 am

Employee Policies
Time Clock + Pay
Time Clock Procedures
Use the timeclock labeled “Staffmark”, your Supervisor will show you where it is located.
- Use the last 4 digits of your social security number to clock in and out.
- You will need to clock IN & OUT for lunch.
- Do not clock in any earlier than 7 minutes prior to your shift.
- If you miss a punch, let your Staffmark rep know immediately so that we can adjust and pay you correctly.
- Failure to punch in and out could result in pay errors.
Pay Rates
- $15/hour
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
Pay Schedule
- Paydays are every Friday.
- Pay period is from Sunday to Saturday and is paid the following Friday.
- You have 2 ways to receive your paycheck:
- Direct Deposit
- Net Spend
Attendance & Shifts
In case you are late or absent
You will need to call the Alpla call off line at (419)-996-7337
And also let Staffmark know by calling/texting the office (567)-242-5111.
Requesting Time Off:
Although attendance is important and we know this scheduled is designed to allow you time through the week to accomplish things like appointments, sometimes things happen and you may need to request time off. Please see if you can find someone on the opposite team to cover for you, ask your supervisor and notify your Staffmark representative. We do attendance daily and need to know if you are absent or switched shifts with someone
Dress Code
What to wear:
- This is food grade facility.
- You will need to wear jeans/workpants with no holes/frays.
- Shorts must be to your knees.
- T-shirt with no holes, must be tucked in.
- Steel toed boots or shoes are required.
- Hair must be pulled up or tied back. Hair and bear nets will be provided and are required.
What not to wear:
- Jewelry – this includes facial piercings of any kind, bracelets, rings, necklaces, etc. No jewelry of any kind is permitted.
- Fake fingernails or fingernail polish.
- Jeans with distress/holes/frays.
- Fake eyelashes.
- Shirts with offensive language or meanings
