Skills That Get You Hired 

• 6 months of previous experience in extrusion, plastics manufacturing, or industrial production
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a factory environment
• Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends

On the Job

• Set up and operate sheet extrusion equipment including extruders, dies, chill rolls, conveyors, and slitting systems
• Monitor machine performance, gauges, and material flow to ensure consistent product quality
• Adjust equipment settings to maintain production efficiency and quality standards
• Support thermoforming operations as needed
• Perform material handling and maintain proper supply levels (filters, screens, etc.)
• Complete production documentation and reports
• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs (pump seals, bolts, die polishing)
• Notify maintenance of major repair needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety programs, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives
