• Experience in logistics operations preferred

• Great customer service and relationship-building skills
• Good communication and negotiating skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized
• Ability to problem solve
• Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

Key Responsibilities

• Daily carrier sourcing and rate negotiations
• Ensure carriers meet all specifications to move our customers’ freight
• Find, vet, and onboard new qualified carriers to our network
• Communicate daily with carriers to build lasting relationships
• Analyze carrier performance and address any concerns as needed
• Dispatch drivers and track them for the life of a shipment, and update TMS
• Generate BOLs for warehouse pickups
• Retrieve and upload shipment documents into TMS
• Communicate with customers about any tender acceptance or issues
• Supply customers with pricing
• Schedule shipments via phone, email and/or scheduling portals
• Update daily and MTD reports
