Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing, valve, or hydronics assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions
- Experience using standard hand tools, including wrenches and pliers
- Experience operating bench-mounted power tools or testing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and product quality
- Ability to follow Lean Production practices
- Commitment to following all workplace safety procedures
- Ability to maintain accurate parts and inventory levels
Job Duties
- Review packing slips and digital pick tickets
- Pull the correct quantities of industrial valves, actuators, and fittings
- Assemble valve components and product kits
- Attach, align, and fasten valves to electric and pneumatic actuators
- Build and connect wiring harnesses
- Install and connect solenoids
- Follow engineering drawings and production schedules
- Conduct pressure tests on completed assemblies
- Perform functional air-leak testing
- Verify that finished assemblies meet performance requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment and assembly issues
- Perform basic maintenance on assembly machinery
- Monitor and manage local stock levels for parts
- Inspect products for defects or damage
- Pack and label completed orders
- Prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
