Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, machining certificate, or CNC programming education preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment
- CNC programming, CNC operation, and machining experience required
- Experience setting up and operating CNC lathe machines, including turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling
- Ability to read blueprints, follow written instructions, and complete reports accurately
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and performance management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, including Hyundai, Mori, Yugi, and HAAS equipment
- Oversee day-to-day department operations and production workflow
- Prioritize shop orders to meet customer and production deadlines
- Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate team members
- Maintain a strong shop floor presence throughout the shift
- Collaborate with management and other departments to support manufacturing goals
- Identify process improvement opportunities and improve operational efficiency
- Resolve production, quality, safety, and personnel concerns promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around machining equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, tooling, and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate CNC machinery and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.

What You Will DoAs a CNC Supervisor you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.
The CNC Supervisor is responsible for producing precision components using computer-controlled machining equipment while maintaining strict quality standards. This role combines mechanical knowledge, technical expertise, and attention to detail to support manufacturing success.
Successful CNC Supervisor candidates understand tooling, machining principles, machine setup, and dimensional inspection while maintaining safe and efficient production practices. Accuracy and consistency are essential to long-term success.
